One of four professional Welsh regional rugby union teams, the Scarlets compete in the Pro 12 League. Made by Burrda, from 80% cotton and 20% polyester, the Scarlets Home Replica Rugby Shirt was released for the 2011/12 season where upon they will be looking to improve upon their fifth place finish in 2011. Just like their name, the shirt merges two subtle shades of scarlet with the club crest stitched onto the left chest and Burrda logo in white on the opposite side. In terms of sponsors, Dyfed Steels is printed across the centre of the shirt whilst other sponsors are stitched onto the right sleeve. The reverse of the jersey includes Princes Gate on the collar, Worthington’s and WRW sponsors. As a distinct finishing touch, the right sleeve incorporates the Welsh wording “Calon ac Enaid”, which is translated onto the left sleeve as “Heart and Soul”.
