Edinburgh is one of two professional rugby teams in Scotland competing in the Magners League along with Glasgow Warriors. Edinburgh currently play their home games at Murrayfield Stadium.

One of only two professional Scottish rugby union teams, Edinburgh became the first club from Scotland to reach the Heineken Cup quarter-finals. Made by Macron, from 100% polyester, the Edinburgh Pro Home Rugby Shirt was released for the 2011/12 RaboDirect Pro 12 season. A plain black offering is enhanced by a vibrant red strike across the chest whilst the Edinburgh emblem features on the left chest accompanied by the Macron logo on the opposite side.
